It is true, the Brewer's did have a housefire!

Yes, it is true
on a fateful day
in late August,
whilst we did play,

We heard the sirens,
oh so loud,
received a call,
the house is smokin'.

The final drive
to our proud home,
tore out our heart
with pains created.

The kids were shielded
from the view,
but dad and mom
were left unbreathed.

Our lives have turned
quiet unexpected,
not bad, per se,
just redirected.
